We're building a place to practise memorizing anything with visualization, the way memory champions do, made simple enough for everyday learning.

The technique

Instead of repeating facts until they stick, you turn each thing you want to remember into a vivid, often absurd image: an association object. Your brain holds on to pictures and stories far better than to lists.

Memory routes

When order matters, like rankings, timelines or the bones of the body, you place the images one by one along a route through a place you know well, such as your home. Walking the route in your mind brings them back in order.

Associations

When order doesn't matter, like words in a new language, each card gets its own scene with a sound-alike hint. Picture the scene and the answer follows.

Why mostly text?

We deliberately use very few pictures. The images you create in your own imagination are the ones you remember best.
